The design is fairly simple. Straight lines and simple curvature make this an updated look to a traditional style. The light has a faux wood grain finish. It brown in color. Some lights can pull this off. I don’t think this one can. The wood grain looks like stripes. It does not have a subtle wood grain look. If this light is 10 feet up in the air, it might not be that noticeable to you. The unit comes with six 12 inch rods that are connectable. Simple math= a six foot drop if needed. Unfortunately, if you just need a 4 or 6 inch drop, you’re out of luck. It’s a 12 inch minimum drop. I wish it had a chain option for suspension. Overall its a decent light. A couple small modifications could make it great.
