Seems most everything that can be said about this has been, except the following. I have been using this model for over 7 years now, and have replaced it twice in that time. The weak link has been the handle cracking both times, same place, under normal use; guess the plastic weakens over time. For the price and how well it operates otherwise on both linoleum and short fiber carper (very good suction for a stick), lying flat for use under furniture, ease of emptying dirt cup and cleaning filter, and switching to hand vac when desired, seems worth replacing every 3-4 years 😊
