- The G0947’s spiral cutterhead design delivers quieter operation and smoother finishes compared to traditional straight-knife heads; The 16 heat-treated HSS inserts can be rotated for a fresh edge, maximizing performance and minimizing replacement costs;
- Despite its compact size and easy portability, it boasts a powerful 1-1/2 HP motor, exceeding the typical power of benchtop jointers; This combination of portability and muscle makes it ideal for workshops with limited space;
- The spiral cutterhead design generates a finer sawdust pattern, reducing the risk of clogged dust collection systems; The built-in 2-1/2″ dust port easily connects to your dust collection system.
- The bars extend the overall table size from 34 to 52 inches and can be locked by hand at any point in between to support the workpiece.

I am very pleased with my new Grizzly 8” jointer! The construction is solid and heavy duty for a benchtop tool, the cutter height and fence adjustment controls are accurate and easy to use, it easily set up in minutes out of the shipping box, and the motor is smooth, powerful and up to the task. The planes are smooth and accurate. I make furniture at home, so space was a consideration. I am a fan of this tool.
