This will eliminate shrapnel, sparks, and mushrooming that could occur when hitting steel wedges with traditional steel axes. This will also increase the life of your trusty steel or plastic wedges. This Axe is perfect for felling large trees that require wedging. The Axe blade also features unique raised “ribs” that help split wood more effectively.
