I needed to replace a 30 year old shop vac that died. I am working sanding the plaster while finishing up the drywall in my garage. I use a water filter (as shown in the photo) to reduce the amount of dust that makes it to the vacuum. This vacuum has so much suction the sanding block will stick to the wall when it is on. (As shown in the photo.) The noise is about the same as my old vacuum. Super happy with this product.
