The RIDGID 18V Brushless Reciprocating Saw offers 20% faster cutting compared to the previous model (R8643) and features a premium orbital action switch for fast wood cutting. The R8647B has a conveniently located side-lever tool-free blade release for quick and easy blade changes. This 18V brushless reciprocating saw features an integrated rafter hook for easy storage, as well as a superior ergonomic handle for enhanced user comfort. As always, this RIDGID 18V Brushless Reciprocating Saw is 100% compatible with all RIDGID 18V batteries. The RIDGID MAX Output 4.0 Ah battery will provide up to 3X more runtime compared to the 1.5 Ah lithium-ion battery (AC870015).
