Using ultracap technology extends the longevity of the SC1634 jump starter since its ultracaps are rated for more than 10,000 cycles while AGM and lithium jump starters typically are rated for under 1,000 cycles. Also, unlike lithium batteries, ultracaps will not be damaged if fully discharged. Another advantage of ultracaps is their quick recharging. The SC1634’s ultracaps can be fully recharged in a few minutes instead of 2-hours to 4-hours to charge a lithium battery. And in extreme temperatures, ultracaps outperform lithium and AGM jump starters, delivering superior starting at -40°F or 140°F. The SC1634 will tackle the toughest jobs with 1500 peak amps for powerful portable jump starting and the ultracaps can be recharged from the internal lithium battery for additional starts.
