You have to assemble this, but instructions are clear and it didn’t take all that long. The spreader is well built and works amazingly well. You can raise and lower the spikes and adjust the amount of seeding without getting off your mower. The controls are within reach. The spikes are nice and sharp and cut into our rough lawn without issues.
