The DEWALT DW735 13 in. Thickness Planer provides an excellent surface finish every time. This wood planer has a 3-knife cutter head for a 30% longer knife-life and seamless knife changes. Its powerful 15 Amp, 20,000 RPM (10,000 RPM cutter head speed) motor executes 96 or 179 cuts per in. for a quick and efficient solution. It has an extra-large thickness scale that delivers accurate cuts with every pass. This allows the thickness planer to handle large cuts in wider materials with ease.

Worked like a champ! Setup was simple! Was up and running within minutes of getting it out of the box. If you don’t have a dust collection, you may want setup a shop vac to help with the wood shavings and dust.

This machine works better than advertised. It turned slabs of rough cut firewood into beautiful bread boards is minutes. Only needed a little light sanding and trimming on the table saw. I love it.

Very solid construction, easy to setup and use, planed about 150’ of walnut, cherry, and white oak with it so far. Very minor sniping on short pieces. Does a great job with the straight knives. I am sure with a helical head upgrade it would be even better
