Single-Bevel Compound Miter Saw is powered by a 15 Amp motor to drive 4,000 rpm, delivering extended power and durability. The DEWALT DWS715 12 in features a stainless-steel miter detent plate and cam miter lock that provide repeatable accuracy and durability with easy adjustments. This DEWALT has tall sliding fences that support 5-1/2 in. of base molding vertically and 5-1/2 in. of crown molding vertically nested. The lightweight design and built-in carry handle make this a portable that’s easy to transport around the job site. It folds down for easy storage in your workshop or garage.

I have needed a quality compound miter saw capable of handling small to medium cuts for a long time. Performing these cuts with a table saw or hand held circular saw with jigs is possible in many cases, but the set up time, adjustability, and accuracy can vary greatly. This saw is light and small enough to carry to my work area from storage in the basement. With a 12 inch blade, it is capable of handling 95% of the stock I might ever need to miter cut. It sets up easily and can be clamped to my Workmate portable bench. With an upgraded blade, it makes clean, accurate, and repeatable cuts! Has Dewalt quality and reliability.
