I bought this as a trickle charger, but found that the 1 amp is a bit weak. It took days to charge up a 50% discharged AGM. So I returned it. But it is a very high quality device. The wires for the clips are too short. Okay for connecting direct to a battery, but not long enough to connect to the battery points of a hybrid or EV.
